Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Suvarna Palace (Sonai Silver Palace, Karad, Maharashtra) collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

Kept only in your browser

Your bag, wishlist, the pincode you last checked for delivery, and your analytics choice are saved in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Visit statistics, only if you allow them

If you choose “Allow analytics” in the banner, we count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It records the page, the referring website, your browser and device type, and your country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you personally. If you choose “Only essential”, nothing is measured. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

When you check delivery or track a parcel

The pincode or tracking number you enter is sent to our shipping partner, Shiprocket, to fetch delivery dates or parcel status. We do not link it to you.

When you create an account or sign in

If you sign in with your mobile number, we store the number and send it to Message Central, our SMS provider, so it can text you a one-time code. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We also keep the name you add on your account page. We use these details only to sign you in and, once online ordering opens, for your orders.

When you contact us or order

If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we receive the details you share, such as your name, phone number, delivery address and the pieces you want. We use them only to answer you, and to prepare, invoice and deliver your order. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

When online ordering opens, we will also collect the details needed to deliver and invoice your order. Payments will be handled by our payment provider; we will never see or store your card or UPI PIN. We will update this policy before that happens.

Sign-in cookies

The only cookies this website sets are sign-in cookies: for customers who sign in to their account, and for our own staff on the store's admin pages. They keep you signed in and are not used for tracking. Visitors who shop without signing in get no cookies from us.

Who processes your information for us

• Vercel: hosts this website.
• Supabase: runs our database and customer sign-in, in its Mumbai (India) region.
• Message Central: sends sign-in codes by SMS to your mobile number.
• Google: only when you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Shiprocket and its courier partners: delivery estimates, tracking and, for orders, delivery.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as GST and other Indian laws require. Other messages and details are deleted when they are no longer needed to serve you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw a consent you gave, or nominate someone to act for you. Contact us through our contact page. We will reply within 30 days.
